The Okta App for Mobile Devices
Catapult Learning will be moving to Okta to streamline access to the applications we all use on a regular basis, as well as to help protect and keep our systems secure. The following information will guide you through set up and use of the Okta app for mobile devices. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Download Okta Mobile:
Download and install the Okta Mobile App from the Apple App or Google Play store
1. Search for Okta Mobile
2. Click the Free button
3. Click the Install button
4. Click the Open button
Sign in to Okta Mobile and Set Your PIN:
When you first launch Okta Mobile, you'll be asked to enter in your credentials
Enter your Site name (catapult), Username (your work email address), and Password (Okta Password)
The first time you log in you will be prompted to enter a four-digit PIN (you will need this each time you login to Okta Mobile)
- Enter your new PIN
- Enter the PIN again to confirm it
Note: If you forget your pin on subsequent logins, click the Reset PIN link. You can also turn on fingerprint verification if you phone allows.
Access Your Apps in Okta Mobile:
Once logged in, your list of Apps will display. Click the App Icon to launch the App. Note, Applications are opened in the mobile browser’s tabs and will behaving like they would on your computer.
Change Your Okta or App Password:
You can change your Okta password in the mobile app.
1. Open the List Icon
2. Go to Settings
3. Go to Change Password – Enter your current password, and then a new password
You can also change a password for an individual app as allowed.
1. Click and hold on the App
2. Update Credentials
Note, any password changes you make to an app in the Okta Mobile app will automatically update it in the Okta service, so whether you access Okta via your desktop or mobile device, the apps new password will be used.
